woohoo! We’re in China!
The 11 hour flight went by surprisingly quickly… Virgin Atlantic is a great airline. Their inflight entertainment, with over a hundred movies, tv shows, audio books, CDs and radio stations to choose from, made the time fly by (no pun intended)! There are even games you can play against other passenger, such as chess, trivia and battlemail (sorta like that yahoo kung-fu game…).
This is our 4th day in China and we’ve already been to 3 markets, 2 irish bars, been to the top of the 3rd largest buiding in the world (the Jin Mao building) and the Oriental Pearl tower, travelled on a psychadelic cable car (very, very strange!) under the Huang Pu (”Yellow River”) river, eaten lots of chinese food (including frog, complete with skin… yum) AND had a coffee in Starbucks!
