More fuel for the Bush-fire: Moorewatch.com (note this site is anti-Moore. Be sure to read all the comments that accompany each article to get a bigger picture from the readers).
I’ve read lots of comments that are anti-Kerry, which are fair enough as from what they’ve been saying then Kerry is just as bad as any other politician, but I still haven’t found good pro-Bush arguments that hold water.
Not very long until the voters get on their feet … but you can be sure that a whole bunch of rednecks are gonna vote Bush again.
i resent that! don’t stereotype =P
garethwestern.com - where political discourse is part of everyday life…heh…
I noticed a story on the news yesterday that claimed that our “beloved” Bush is the most hated foreigner agomng hungarian school children, just after Hitler. But note that he’s listed higher than osama, Saddam, Stalin etc. But what worried me was that at the same time he is also the most loved foreigner…odd you say? In a way it is, but all it means is that the oppinions regarding Bush are quite divided. I’m even more worried because later a poll claimed that if Cheney is replaced with Edwards then Kerry is likely to loose, now we’re talking small percentages. I think it was 47% for bush/edwards, obviously meaning that Kerry would lose +/- 4%. But it’s still not very comforting that an idiot like Bush has been adopted by some an incredible leader. My dad said that is Bush is reelected he’ll leave the US. I wouldn’t really blame him if he did. Well that’s all for now on this subject.
On a happier note, I found out that I passed two out of three exams, Programming 2 (in VB) and Markov processes. Yay for me!
A lotta typos in my last post, sorry about that.
what is going on with us guys? lol, can’t we go back to the days when we didnt really give a damn about politics? Sometimes I wish I still didnt.. oh well…We are still young, let’s enjoy it. I love you guys! =)
Id like to change the subject by posting this by Pablo Neruda.
Sonnet XVII- I do not love you:
I do not love you as if you were salt-rose, or topaz,
or the arrow of carnations the fire shoots off.
I love you as certain dark things are to be loved,
in secret, between the shadow and the soul.
I love you as the plant that never blooms
but carries in itself the light of hidden flowers;
thanks to your love a certain solid fragrance,
risen from the earth, lives darkly in my body.
I love you without knowing how, or when, or from where.
I love you straightforwardly, without complexities or pride;
so I love you because I know no other way
than this: where I does not exist, nor you,
so close that your hand on my chest is my hand,
so close that your eyes close as I fall asleep.
Thought this might interest all of you guys. Definately worth reading. I hope the link works!

Here’s my “POV”: Yeah, Moore does contradict himself numerous times, gets his facts wrong, etc., but it’s nice to finally have someone going crazy-extreme on the left to counteract all the radicals on the right (who spout just as much trash/counter-trash as Moore).
Oh yeah… it’s pretty funny how the article implies that Al Jazeera is nothing but a propagandistic tool… just about EVERY news station is biased one way or the other these days (yes, even MSNBC!! omg!@# heh). Bleh. Ok i’m sick of politics now… when I rule the world i’ll ban it all.
