it is true!
ztv where that video is ripped from is one of the “big” tv-channels for music in sweden and the song is on the charts.

It´s a huge radio hit here in Sweden right now, and I just LOVE it. The lyric is kind of weir, but who care? The song is just great! Actiually I´ve heard that he´s singing about something that actiually happend to him.

This song is wonderful…I’m Italian and I was in Grabbarna Grus last week in Cyprus…It was fantastic when they played Boten Anna! It was a delirium!!!

If you’re not Swedish, you’re missing a big point. Very few “normal” people know what a “bot” is, but the word is very similar to the Swedish word “båt”, meaning “boat”. So many people thinks the song is about a boat named Anna… When he made the video (after the song became a hit), he made a joke about that and that’s why he travels in a boat in a canal. Of course, the Swedish word for canal is the same as channel. At one moment in the video, he points to the canal and sings “she cleans up our channel”. No wonder people are confused
