The rain in Aquitaine…

… fell mainly on us. But we did have a couple of nice days towards the end of the week. Pictured in the photo is the gîte mum and dad rented. They spent the first of two weeks there looking for a new house, which they found in a nice little village of Lascazères, so congratulations to them! I guess I’ll have to brush up my French within the next year or two (or however long it is until dad retires).
Speaking of languages, I “passed” the Norwegian class I’ve been taking for the past few months. Jeg er flink! Although by “passed” I mean I happened to show up for the last lesson when they were handing out certificates. Now I’ve got a couple of months to keep practising before Hanne and I head over to Norway for her grandfather’s 90th birthday celebrations.
But before then I’ve also got to whip myself back in to a bit of shape after the overindulgence of beers and wines last week. The Great North Run is looming on the horizon, and Hanne and I are also taking part in the (shorter) Great Wales Run in Cardiff at the end of this month. Hmm… I’d better go for a run.

Awesome. Is it (anything) like the one they found in Lascazères? Send them my best wishes. Thanks, now get back to working out…
Any idea if Ruz is still in Boston? That’s where he was, right?
